- Promoting awareness of talk therapy: We believe strongly in talk therapy and the value of applying the theory and knowledge upon which it rests. Therefore, we actively promote talk therapies that have been proven to be effective and respect depth, continuity and human complexity.
- Welcoming all disciplines: We support and welcome providers from all orientations and acknowledge the value of all established forms of talk therapy (long/short-term and structured/unstructured).
- Supporting independent practice: With the rapid rise of venture capital-driven online therapy platforms, TherapyRoute remains a clinician run service, focused more on principles than profits. We still respect the sanctity of the therapeutic relationship and clinician autonomy.
